Kayseri City Hospital pediatric clinic is one of the most developed centers in our region for the health care and treatment of our children. While our hospital was within the body of Kayseri Training and Research Hospital, it has been moved to its new modern clinic with the opening of the City Hospital as of June 2018. Patients referred to our hospital from Kayseri and other provinces of the region are admitted to our clinic. In our clinic, nine associate professors, four chief assistants, minor (pediatrics and related minor specialization) specialists, pediatric specialists and thirty-two pediatric residents work devotedly to protect the health of our children and to treat them in case of illness with a team spirit. In outpatient applications, after the patients are evaluated in general pediatrics, social pediatrics, newborn or emergency pediatric outpatient clinics, necessary examinations and consultations are made and their treatment is arranged. Apart from outpatient application to these outpatient clinics, the diagnostic process can be examined by making an appointment from the phone number 182. Patients who need to be examined by a minor branch physician and patients who have been followed up before are evaluated by the relevant minor branch physician. Appointments can be made from the minor outpatient clinics with the approval of the relevant physician.

Units in Our Clinic,
Cardiology
After listening to the complaints of our patients and performing their physical examination, their heart rhythms, oxygen saturation and blood oxygen levels are evaluated by electrocardiography, and their blood pressure is measured. Echocardiography examination is a very helpful method in the diagnosis showing heart morphology and function. Holter, electrocardiography and exercise test are the tests we apply especially in the diagnosis of rhythm disorder. Cardiac computed tomography and MRI are advanced radiological diagnostic examination methods. Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures are performed with angiography.
In the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic;
• Evaluation of our patients who applied with complaints such as , bruising, palpitation, fainting, chest pain and fatigue,
• Diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of children with congenital and acquired heart disease,
• Evaluation of cardiac anatomy and functions of patients hospitalized in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units,
• Evaluation of the heart in cases where the heart may be affected due to systemic disease or drug use,
• Diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of children with rhythm disorders,
• Clinical diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of children with heart failure due to various reasons.
• Evaluation of heart health in professional athletes,
• Evaluation of fetal heart morphology and rhythm with fetal echocardiography examination,
• Diagnostic catheterization in some congenital heart diseases with angiography,
• Closure of heart holes and vascular openings for suitable patients by applying invasive angiographic procedures, removal of valve and vascular stenosis, septostomy (creation of an interatrial heart hole procedures in some cyanotic heart diseases,
• Controls of patients who have undergone an angiography procedure or heart surgery due to heart disease,
* Pediatric health and diseases Within the framework of the assistant physician training, courses on diagnosis and treatment approaches of pediatric heart diseases are given to our assistant physicians.
