CLINICAL HISTORY
While Kayseri City Hospital Urology Clinic previously served in Kayseri Training and Research Hospital, it was included in Kayseri City Hospital in 2018. Appointed as clinical chief in 2017, Assoc. Education and research activities started with Mert Ali Karadağ. Specialty training is not yet available in our clinic. Since 2017, it has been a part of the University of Health Sciences. There are 2 Associate Professors and 12 specialist doctors in our academic staff.
Service visits are made every weekday between 07.30 and 08.00 in the morning and between 16.00 and 16.30 in the evening. Every Wednesday, between 09.00-12.00, a council meeting is held where difficult cases are discussed.
Our service bed number is 36. Our bed occupancy rate is over 70 percent.
OUR SERVICES
The Urology service of our clinic has 36 beds and it provides service with an average of 5 Urology polyclinics per day. In the Urology Unit of our clinic, modern up-to-date urological diagnosis and treatment services are provided to our patients with Ultrasonography and TRUS Biopsy, Stone Crushing (ESWL), Urodynamics, Uroflowmetry, Andrology Laboratory (spermiogram), Cystoscopy and Radiology Clinic together with MR-Fusion Biopsy services.
Urological Oncological surgeries, Laparoscopic surgeries, Reconstructive surgeries, TUR surgeries, Open and closed stone surgeries (PCNL, URS, RIRS), Urinary incontinence surgeries, Infertility and andrology surgeries are performed successfully in our clinic. We are working on establishing a kidney transplant center in a short time.
Our clinic closely follows and contributes to the developments in the field of medicine worldwide. In particular, the number of oncological cases is increasing day by day.
In our clinic, domestic and foreign academic publications are closely followed and frequently contributed to the scientific world.
